About ITIL®

 ITIL® Practitioner course is a 2-day course leading to the ITIL® Intermediate Qualification, ITIL® Practitioner Certificate is a freestanding qualification, but is also part of the ITIL® Intermediate Lifecycle stream, and one of the modules leading to the ITIL® Expert in IT Service Management Certificate.

The ITIL® Practitioner certification offers practical guidance on how to adopt and adapt the ITIL® framework to support your business' objectives.

It is the next step after ITIL® Foundation for professionals who have already learned the basics of IT Service Management (ITSM).

Course Outline

 ITIL® Practitioner covers the Continual Service Improvement (CSI) approach as the way to structure any improvement initiatives.
ITIL® Practitioner also covers three key areas crucial for success of any improvement initiatives:

  • Organizational Change Management
  • Communication
  • Measurement and Metrics


The ITIL® Practitioner guidance follows 9 Guiding Principles:

105 minutes, Open Book
Online or paper (optional)
Scenario based, 40 multiple choice questions.
Passing score in 70% (28 correct answers)
Attending the course is NOT a must for exam take.
